“When I was eighteen, my boyfriend figured it would be a good idea for me to start dancing in a strip club. We were both strung out on cocaine, so I said yes. I had no choice, anyway. He beat me half dead when I ran out on him, and I thought he’d kill me. After a year or so, we were stone-cold junkies and he was bringing his friends around to have sex with me. I’m 62 now. I’m still hooked on heroin and still prostituting. I’ll take as little as five bucks.” (photo by Donato DiCamillo)
