Alex Nuñez
Alex Nuñez is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at the University of Arizona studying Mexican American history, baseball, and race. His dissertation explores the ways Mexican Americans used baseball as a vehicle for identity formation, community development, and the production of cultural citizenship. He also works as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions for the W.A. Franke Honors College at the University of Arizona.
