Scott H. Podolsky is a primary care physician, Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the director of the Center for the History of Medicine at the Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine. His most recent book, The Antibiotic Era: Reform, Resistance, and the Pursuit of a Rational Therapeutics, was published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2015.
