Andrew J. Theising, Ph.D., is associate professor and chair of political science at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. His research focuses on industrial legacy in urban cores. He is the author of the award-winning Made in USA: East St. Louis and co-editor, with Terry Jones, of St. Louis Currents: The Fifth Edition, newly-released by Reedy Press (February 2016).
