He is the former Policy Fellow at the Prison Policy Initiative and Researcher-in-Residence at Artspace New Haven. Aiken received an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies and MSt in American History from the University of Oxford where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and graduated summa cum laude with his BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Michael R. Allen is senior lecturer in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design and lecturer in American Culture Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, as well as director of the Preservation Research Office.

Laurie F. Maffly-Kipp is the Archer Alexander Distinguished Professor at the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics. Maffly-Kipp also serves as the Interim Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Provost for Graduate Education at Washington University in St. Louis.
Heidi Aronson Kolk is assistant professor in the Sam Fox School of Design and assistant vice provost of academic assessment at Washington University in St. Louis.
Jasmine Mahmoud is assistant professor of Theatre History and Performance Studies, with an affiliation in art history, at the University of Washington.

Christina Simko is an associate professor of sociology at Williams College.
Sylvia Sukop completed her MFA at Washington University in St. Louis in 2018, and was awarded the Senior Fellowship in Creative Nonfiction in 2018-2019. She is former director of the Summer Writers Institute at Washington University, and served for three years on its faculty. Named an Olin Fellow in 2021, she is currently a PhD student in Germanic Languages and Literatures, with a research interest in public memory and memorialization.
