Sylvester Brown Jr.

Sylvester Brown Jr. is the founder of the now defunct Take Five Magazine, former St. Louis Post-Dispatch Metro Columnist, founder and executive director of The Sweet Potato Project, a program that teaches at-risk youth entrepreneurial skills through horticulture, packaging, and selling produce and food-based products. In addition, Brown works as a freelance journalist and contributing writer.
