Jake W. Dean studies the political ecology of marine conservation, as well as inequities within sports and recreation. He holds a master of arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Arizona and will enter the doctoral program in Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in the fall.
