Colin Burnett

Colin Burnett is an associate professor of film and media studies at Washington University in St. Louis. He is currently at work on a new book—his third—entitled Serial Bonds: 007 Storytelling Across Media. He has written several essays on the Bond franchise, including a chapter on the various Moneypennys in film, literature, and comics in Resisting James Bond: Power and Resistance in the Daniel Craig Era (Bloomsbury, 2023) and a feature on Lashana Lynch, the first black woman 007, in the September 27, 2021, issue of LA Review of Books. His other writings on Bond, media franchising, and film and media culture can be found on his blog, Moving Patterns.
