Steven P. Gietschier

Steven P. Gietschier, PhD, is a sports historian and a public historian with degrees from Georgetown University and The Ohio State University. He worked at the Ohio Historical Society, the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, and The Sporting News. He taught for eleven years in the History and Geography Department of Lindenwood University before retiring from academic responsibilities.
